why yoga?

the yoga studioWhy yoga? Do you want to improve: your energy levels, suppleness, muscle tone, core strength, posture, weight, cardiovascular fitness?

Presumably you do, then yoga is for you. Yoga is not just for women a third of our clients are men. Our beautiful studio overlooks the natural surroundings of the Cairngorms National Park near Cromdale.

meet your yoga teacher

Abby is a qualified yoga teacher and teaches a number of different forms of yoga such as hatha and raja and different styles e.g. ashtanga and shadow.

There are 3 regular classes a week as well as private lessons. One of the classes is a specifically ashtanga class. She will come to you if you would like a yoga class in your home or where you are staying.

As well as regular classes we also run yoga mornings and yoga days, the details of which are in our event calendar.


Don't be intimidated. Yoga is fun. Do I need to be supple? No, the aim is to get you more supple. What about fitness? you don't need to be particularly fit, the goal is to improve your fitness? What do I wear? loose fitting clothing, yoga normally is done barefoot, bring a warm top to wear during the cool down time at the end of the class. 

You don't need your own mat, we have mats.
