Thea White, who provides a Scottish accent to sweet farmer’s wife Muriel in Cartoon Network’s creepy comedy Brave cowardly dog, has died. She is 81 years old.

The New Jersey native was Marlene Dietrich’s personal assistant in the dying days of the legendary German-born actress’s career and has been married to Andy White, who played some of the early Beatles songs, since five years. 1983 until his death in 2015.

She was in Dallas doing Goodbye Charlie at a dinner theater when she met White, who was working as a drummer for Dietrich during her concert performance. Her future husband, a version player from Scotland, played recordings of “Please Please Me”, “Love Me Do” and “PS I Love You” with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison in the early 1960s.
