New Movie in the Works at Netflix

The Spy Children franchise transferred to Netflix.

The streaming giant is teaming up with Robert Rodriguez, the filmmaker who created the family comedy-action series, to relaunch and reimagine the property for a new generation.

Rodriguez will write, direct and produce the project’s new feature for the streaming service, Netflix announced Wednesday, with news coming 21 years after the first. Spy Children released in theaters in 2001.
